Dr. Víctor Cabrera Mas, with a 50,169 collegiate number from Barcelona, graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Hospital Clínic from the University of Barcelona. He got the specialty in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery via MIR at the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, with special interest in the fields of breast reconstructive surgery and microsurgery.
During his training period, he performed rotations in other prestigious hospitals, like the Burn Unit of the Vall d’Hebrón Hospital (Barcelona), the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Taipei, Taiwan) and the Teknon Medical Center (Barcelona).
The accreditation obtained by the European Committee of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) stands out, after being examined in Brussels, which validates the specialty at European level and allows him to practice professionally in the most prestigious centres of the European Union.
Dr. Cabrera currently combines his professional activity in public health, at Moisès Broggi Hospital – Consorci Sanitari Integral in Sant Joan Despí, mainly focused on breast reconstructive surgery and microsurgery, and his professional work in cosmetic surgery in the private sector.
He also continues to participate actively in numerous national and international Plastic Surgery congresses, expanding his training.
He is a member of the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SECPRE) and the Catalan Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SCCPRE) and Fellow of the European Committee of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).
